Query Parameters

subreddit*string

Community the post belongs to, e.g. technology. Accepts r/technology or a URL. It must match the post; a mismatch returns a 500, so pasting the post's permalink into post_id is safest.

Lengthlength <= 300
post_id*string

Post id (1vqcqpz), t3_ fullname, or permalink. Prefer the permalink. A temporary failure returns a retryable 503.

Lengthlength <= 500

Both are needed — the permalink's SLUG is load-bearing (the same post id without its slug answers 500 with an empty body), and post metadata exists nowhere but the page. `score` is live and drifts between consecutive fetches. `nsfw` is null unless the post is an image post: it is not an attribute on the post element and the only signal in the markup rides on an element image posts alone carry, so null means the page did not say rather than false."  }}
