- Exceeding your limit returns a
RATE_LIMITEDerror — see Responses & Errors for the full envelope. RATE_LIMITEDresponses are typicallyretryable: true— back off and retry rather than treating it as a hard failure.
Don't hardcode a threshold
Since no numbers are published, don't build assumptions about specific
limits into your integration. Read response headers and handle
RATE_LIMITED at runtime instead.
