Paste one prompt into Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor and get a working ToolzerHub client with auth, errors and retries. Every endpoint page has its own prompt too.
I'm building with the ToolzerHub API — one REST API for public web data (profiles, posts, comments, ads, products, reviews) from TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Reddit, Meta Ads, RedNote and 60+ other sources.
Please help me set up a small, reusable client for it in my project, with error handling and best practices.
Essentials:
- Base URL: https://api.toolzerhub.com
- Auth: send my key in the "x-api-key" header on every request. Ask me for the key, then store it in the TOOLZERHUB_API_KEY environment variable (e.g. a .env file); never hard-code it.
- Success responses are wrapped as { "data": ... }.
- Errors are wrapped as { "error": { "code", "status", "message", "retryable", "details" } }. Retry only when "retryable" is true, with exponential backoff and jitter. 402 = out of credits, 429 = rate limited.
- Most endpoints cost 1 credit per successful request; failed requests are not billed. GET https://api.toolzerhub.com/v1/credits returns my balance for free.

Start by writing the client plus one example call to GET /v1/credits, then ask me which platform and data I need.The essentials
Every endpoint works the same way. Learn these four things once.
- Base URL
- https://api.toolzerhub.com
- Auth header
- x-api-key: YOUR_API_KEY
- Success
- { "data": { … } }
- Error
- { "error": { "code", "status", "message", "retryable" } }
Most calls cost 1 credit and you're only billed on success. Each endpoint page shows its exact cost. How credits work
