# Get job details

Returns one posting under schema.org `JobPosting` field names. Requires the numeric `job_id`; `slug` is optional and cosmetic. `data` is `null` when the posting no longer exists (taken down after the role is filled) — returned as a 200, not a 404.

- Platform: Wellfound
- Request: `GET https://api.toolzerhub.com/v1/wellfound/jobs/detail`
- Auth: `x-api-key` header
- Cost: 1 credit per successful request. Failed requests are not billed.

| Parameter | In | Required | Type | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `job_id` | query | yes | string | The numeric id from a Wellfound job URL, or the id of a row returned by the job search endpoint. |
| `slug` | query | no | string | The slug that follows the id in a Wellfound job URL. Optional — Wellfound resolves the posting on the id alone and the slug is cosmetic, so it is only worth sending when you already have it. |

## Example request

```bash
curl "https://api.toolzerhub.com/v1/wellfound/jobs/detail?job_id=<job_id>" \
  -H "x-api-key: $TOOLZERHUB_API_KEY"
```

Success responses are wrapped as `{ "data": ... }`. Errors return `{ "error": { "code", "status", "message", "retryable", "details" } }`. See https://docs.toolzerhub.com/docs/responses-and-errors.
