# List post comments

List a post's comment tree, flattened with `depth` and `parent_fullname` on each row, plus Reddit's own comment total. Requires `subreddit` and `post_id`; the result may be partial — see `unfollowed_branches` and `truncated_threads`.

- Platform: Reddit
- Request: `GET https://api.toolzerhub.com/v1/reddit/post-comments`
- Auth: `x-api-key` header
- Cost: 1 credit per successful request. Failed requests are not billed.

| Parameter | In | Required | Type | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `subreddit` | query | yes | string | Community the post belongs to, e.g. technology. Accepts r/technology or a URL. It must match the post; a mismatch returns a 500, so pasting the post's permalink into post_id is safest. |
| `post_id` | query | yes | string | Post id (1vqcqpz), t3_ fullname, or permalink. Prefer the permalink: it also supplies the community, so the two can't disagree. |
| `count` | query | no | integer | How many distinct comments to return. Collapsed branches are expanded for you. A short result does not always mean the post has no more comments; deep threads can stay hidden. Default: 25. |
| `sort` | query | no | enum: top, new, controversial, old | Comment order: top, new, controversial or old. Omit it for Reddit's default (best). |

```
