# Search jobs (v1)

Returns one page of 20 Naukri jobs with company rating, experience, salary and skills; at most 150 pages (3,000 jobs) per query. A query Naukri cannot match returns unrelated recent jobs instead of zero results, as naukri.com does.

| Parameter | In | Required | Type | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `query` | query | yes | string | Keywords, skills, designation or company, matched the way naukri.com's own search box matches them. |
| `location` | query | no | string | City or region in India, such as Bangalore, Pune or Delhi NCR. Omit to search all of India. Default: . |
| `page` | query | no | integer | One-based page of 20 jobs. Naukri serves at most 150 pages (3,000 jobs) per query; a page past the last one returns empty results with stop_reason set to past_last_page. Default: 1. |
| `sort` | query | no | enum: date, relevance | relevance (the default, as on naukri.com) keeps to jobs that match the query, but consecutive pages can repeat a few jobs, so dedupe on job_id. date lists the newest postings first with stable pages, and Naukri matches the query more loosely in that order. Default: relevance. |
| `experience_years` | query | no | integer | Candidate experience in years. Keeps jobs whose required experience range includes this value. |
| `work_mode` | query | no | enum: office, remote, hybrid | Keep only jobs with this work arrangement. |
| `posted_within_days` | query | no | integer | Keep only jobs posted in the last 1, 3, 7, 15 or 30 days. Other values are rejected. |
