# Get Instagram profile by username

Public profile for a username — bio, links, verification, privacy flags, and counts as `edge_followed_by.count` (followers) and `edge_follow.count` (following). Returns the numeric `user_id` the post, reel and repost routes take. `data` is `null` if no such account exists.
