# Search salaries

Returns Indeed's salary aggregates for required `title`: national and regional distributions, percentiles, top-paying employers, city breakdowns and related titles. `location` narrows to one region but is rarely needed. `data` is `null` when Indeed has no data for the title.

- Platform: Indeed
- Request: `GET https://api.toolzerhub.com/v1/indeed/salaries`
- Auth: `x-api-key` header
- Cost: 1 credit per successful request. Failed requests are not billed.

| Parameter | In | Required | Type | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `title` | query | yes | string | The job title to price. Spaces are accepted and hyphenated for you, so software engineer and software-engineer are the same request. |
| `location` | query | no | string | Optional city/state to scope the aggregates to. Usually unnecessary: a national call already carries a per-region breakdown for all 51 US regions in regions, so asking for one state costs a request and returns less. |

## Example request

```bash
curl "https://api.toolzerhub.com/v1/indeed/salaries?title=<title>" \
  -H "x-api-key: $TOOLZERHUB_API_KEY"
```

Success responses are wrapped as `{ "data": ... }`. Errors return `{ "error": { "code", "status", "message", "retryable", "details" } }`. See https://docs.toolzerhub.com/docs/responses-and-errors.
